We are delighted to announce that the 2009 ERA Conference will see the introduction of a new prize for postgraduate student presenters at the conference : the Helen Bartlett Prize for Innovation in Ageing Research. The prize of $500 will be awarded to the student whose research is considered by the judging panel to be the most innovative. In 2009, the prize will be sponsored by the ARC/NHMRC Research Network in Ageing Well. The prize recognises the outstanding contribution made by Helen to the field of ageing research in Australia, particularly as the founder of the ERA initiative. All student presenters will automatically be considered for the Helen Bartlett Prize.
Prizes will also be awarded at the 2009 ERA Conference for the best presentation by a doctoral student ($250); best presentation by a Master's student ($250); and best poster ($250)
The deadline for abstract submission for the 2009 ERA Conference is FRIDAY, 29th MAY. See ERA 2009 Conference? for more information.
